IBM profit rises on services, software strength

IBM Corp has reported to the world that they’ve had higher than expected earnings.  IBM stated that this is due to the strong revenue from technology services and consulting services.  Who know’s, they could be right – IBM’s shares did go higher.  Also reported was that there first quarter net income rose 26 percent.  Which if you like to know is about $1.65 per share.
