Oil Prices Up Again!

Here we go again. The price of oil reaches a record high, again. Today the price of oil per barrel was over $129. At one point it looked as it was going to hit $130 a barrel. This new record high is due in part because of OPEC’s president, which was quoted saying his organization won’t raise its output before its next meeting. I don’t know how you all feel, but this is making me mad. I think the U.S Government needs to jump in and put a stop to this.

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy Part 3!

I posted information on this topic on Saturday the 17th when this had happened.  First reported was that the Senator had stroke-like symptoms.  Then reported was that Sen. Edward M. Kennedy had suffered from a seizure.  Now the doctors are reporting that he has a cancerous brain tumor.  The tests that were ran on the Senator after the seizure showed a tumor in Kennedy’s left parietal lobe.  The course of treatment hasn’t been determent yet.  The doctors are still running tests.  I’ll do my best to keep everyone up to date.

Detroit Red Wings Win!

I kind of had a feeling this was going to happen.  The Detroit Red Wings in the Stanley Cup finals for their 23rd time.  On the way to the finals Detroit had a little layover – what I mean is they haven’t been to the Stanley Cup finals since 2002.  During the series with Dallas, they took the serious lead 3-0, then dropped the next two.  Then last night came, and the Red Wings took game 6, 4-1 to take the Western Conference.  The Cup finals will be a good series watch.  I say this because these two teams, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings haven’t played each other this season.  Let the battle begin!
