Bargains During Inflation!

Although food and gas are on the rise other products are low. Just take a trip to the mall and you will see what I’m talking about. It seems that every store in the mall has a ½ off sale. If you are looking to make any big ticket item purchase you should maybe think about doing it now. You should do what my wife does, she finds an item on sale and will buy it for Christmas. You may not be in that spending mood, but you should consider on purchasing that low priced toy now. Because when Christmas comes it will cost you more. Just think about!

Save On Oil Changes!

I can across an article stating that we change our oil in our cars more frequently than we should.  The misconception for years was that you needed to change your engine oil every 3000 miles.  But did you know that with the better oils we have today that most auto manufacturers now recommend changing your oil about every 5,000 to 7,000 under normal driving conditions.  The only time I change my oil is when the car tells me to.  I’m not kidding; both of my cars have a computerized system that alerts me when it’s time.  And I will say this; the car has always been right on.  Check your car’s manual to see when your oil changes are due.  Think how much the price of oil would be if we change our oil when it really needed to be done.
