Stocks Up Slightly

Stocks Up Slightly!

The stock market showed a slight move in the upward direction today. All because of the news coming out of China. It appears that China will raise caps on their gas and diesel prices. By doing this, the global demand on oil will full back some. China is the biggest consumer of oil in the world. So any move like this will have an immediate effect. Their demand for oil is very high. Which also makes them the highest polluting country in the world. They’re killing all of us by putting heavy toxins in the air. Any way, this news out of China brought the price of oil down $5 a barrel, which is good for us. Hopeful this day will be a start to some good days ahead.

Cost Of Flooding

Cost Of Flooding!

These storms and flooding across six states this month has turned peoples live upside down. From my understanding, there has been 24 people already killed, and many hurt. I heard that the estimated damage of these storms and floods have already cost the state and people in Iowa $1.5 billion. And I’m sure this cost will be going up. Not only does the flooding affects the people of these states it affects all of us. With damage crops of corn, our corn products will be going up. We can only pray that no more people get hurt, and the water goes down soon. Oh, President Bush began his first tour today of the damage area.
