Gustav Category 4 Hurricane

Gustav Category 4 Hurricane!

The storm Gustav has turned back into a category 4 hurricane. This storm has already killed more than 75 people and many still missing. The U.S. National Hurricane Center stated that it could strengthen even more. In Cuba, right now they’re evacuating more than 240,000 people. Cuba has already grounded all national airline fights, but reported there has been international destination planes still taking off. Cuba has also shout down all public transpiration services. And right now in an America people are heading north to get out of the way of this storm. In New Orleans they’re taking no chances. The city and surrounding areas are being evacuated. I was reading that everyone related to public services is in place and ready to respond. I my local town they’re sending medical services to the areas that will be hit. They have no idea where they’re going yet, they’ve been told to drive to the area of the storm. Hopefully this won’t hit the coast hard, but if it does, we will be ready to help.

Presidential Candidate Barack Obama

Presidential Candidate Barack Obama!

I’m sitting here listening to Barack Obama speech on what he’s going to do if he’s elected the next President of the United States of America. Right now it sounds like a real change is coming for America, my home land. But right now it’s all words, will it turn into reality. We do need change, so very bad, but can Barack Obama bring that change? I believe that he feels in his heart of hearts that he can do it. And maybe that’s what we need, someone to believe in his dreams for change. And today just so happens to be the day when Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech, which was 45 years ago. America has come so far today, and made a huge step forward. Today is a day that will be written in history of America.

U.S. Contractor KBR Inc

U.S. Contractor KBR Inc!

I was just reading an article online about how KBR Inc., which is a U.S. defense contractor and a Jordanian subcontractor Daoud & Partners are being accused trafficking human’s. Now I have no clue if their guilty of doing this or not. But if they’re found guilty they need to never work an U.S. defense contractor again. I was reading that the lawsuit states that 12 Nepali men were being transported to Iraq against their will. Then insurgents killed them in an attack. Also reported in the lawsuit was that they were sent to Iraq to work on an U.S. air base. And of course KBR Inc. declined to comment, because they have yet to see the lawsuit. Here’s what’s going to happen, COVER-UP. That’s right, there will be a cover-up and the family members of these men will be paid off. And KBR Inc. will be right back working for the U.S. Defense and remain a major contractor in Iraq.

New Markets For Dell

New Markets For Dell!

Today Dell Inc. has introduced four very low cost computers to be sold in China, India and other emerging economies. Like other computer makers they need to start taping these markets. The only problem is profit, how will they do in these markets. It’s not going to be easy in China, well because everything is made in China at low – low prices. Dell Inc. is making this move because Americans aren’t purchasing enough of their products. And since that’s their main source of revenue it’s really hurting them. Dell will not only need to compete with profit but will be competing with Hewlett-Packard Co., Taiwan-based Acer Inc. and China’s Lenovo Group. These other computer makers are already fighting for business in these markets.
