American Killed In Beijing!
I know that everyone in the world knows by know that the father of former Olympian. I just feel I need to say something about it. The man killed was Todd Bachman and his wife Barbara Bachman is in intensive care at a Beijing hospital. Barbara was injured when she tried to fight off the killer, what a brave woman. I should also say that their tour guide was also injured in the attacked. Todd Bachman is the father to 2004 volleyball Olympian Elisabeth “Wiz” Bachman and father in-law of U.S. men’s volleyball coach Hugh McCutcheon. After the attack, the killer Tang Yongming jumped off the Drum Tower to his death. This killing is totally uncalled for and will leave a black eye on the Olympic Games, and it should. The Chinese government should have done more to protect the people visiting Beijing. This is a sad day for America!

Bernie Mac Dies!
Bernie Mac died today at the age 50. He passed away this morning from complications due to pneumonia. No one else is saying more than that, and shouldn’t. We need to respect his family’s privacy. With that being said, we have lost a great comedian today. He was one of the funniest comedians around today. And what made him so funny was the fact of what he said about his family. You know what I’m talking about; his family was always the butt of the joke. He dared to say things that we would never dare to say about our families. You could relate to his jokes. I will end on what he once said about his mother, “Woman believed in me,” he wrote. “She believed in me long before I believed.” Rest in peace Mac!
