Summer Olympics 2008!

The games are underway. The opening ceremony was a jam pack with 91,000 people at the National Stadium. With a total audience of about 4 billion worldwide watching. Most of us will be watching the opening ceremony on rewind tonight on NBC. The experts are saying that this event is the biggest extravaganza in Olympic history. I heard that there was going to be 35,000 fireworks going off from 1,800 locations in the city. The city is going to look like it’s on fire. They’re also saying that this Olympics is the most costly. China has spent billions of dollars in building new facilities and cleaning up the area. If you ask me this is way too much to spend on a 2-week event.
