American Leaders

American Leaders!

I first need to state that I’m an American and would die to defend this great country I call home. But I can no longer stand these boneheads running this country. We have Congress slashing and farting around with this very needed bail out bill. Now I don’t agree with this bail out bill, but I do feel that we need it for the greater good. But the crooks in Congress seem to think they know everything. Most of them, the elected officials in Congress have trouble managing their own money. And now where asking them to understand and vote on something they have no clue about. I don’t even think President Bush understands fully what’s going on. That is why we need to leave this up to Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke. These two men have more knowledge then anyone else in the world on how our economy works. So lets leave it up to Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke to make the call on this one. After all, what do either one of these men have to gain. Neither one of them likes politics and can really careless what any political party has to say about them.

Portal For Everyone

Portal For Everyone!

Have any of you out there ever heard of metaRL? I haven’t really ever heard much about them either until I came across their site tonight. They’re a portal for everyone who visits virtual worlds. They offer you the chance to earn free currency for these other virtual worlds sites. You can even earn free habbo credits, to use on habbo’s site. They way they do it is you can participate in games, contests, and more to earn your favorite virtual world currency. I did check out their frequently asked questions to see if I could understand them a little more. The very first question asked on the site is “What is metaRL?” The answer to that was “metaRL is a portal for everyone who visits virtual worlds. You can participate in games, surveys, tasks, and contests and earn virtual world currency.” Anyway, check the site out if this is something that interests you. And make sure you do your research on the site before joining.

Popular Online Hangout

Popular Online Hangout!

One of the most popular online hangouts’s, MySpace is getting into the online download business. Their nearly 120 million users will be able to listen to free music, as much as they want. Now there’s a catch, you can only listen to the music through your computer using your MySpace account. And of course there will be ads you will be looking at. By offering this free to MySpace users will definitely hurt other online music sellers like iTunes. That’s because if you like the song you’re listening to you can buy it for as low as 79 cents from Amazon’s site. And the thing that will set this service apart from iTunes is that you can download the songs as many times as you want. Plus the song will work on any MP3 player. I think iTunes is going to be in a little bit in trouble here. The recording labels are loving this new service. They’re hoping this will bring their numbers back in line. I read that CD sales where a little over $12 billion in the late 1990’s. Today they almost reach $6 billion. That’s a huge drop in sales, which is why recording labels love this new service.
