World Series Suspended

World Series Suspended!

Instead of the Phillies enjoying their first World Series victory in 28 years they’ll have to wait a bit longer. Last night’s game was suspended because of rain, wind and extreme cold. In the forecast over the next few days there calling for snow showers, so who knows when this game will be completed. So I guess the Rays will have to stick around a little bit longer. I was reading that the Rays had checked out of their hotel prior to the start it again. So they had a get on a bus and head to Delaware to stay for the night. Apparently there were no available hotels in the surrounding area for them to stay in. Maybe this is what the Rays needed, a little break. Wouldn’t it be funny if they come back and win the World Series? After all this series has been full of flukes. Hey, you never know. After all they did beat the Yankees and the Red Sox.

Level Of Exposure

Level Of Exposure!

In todays tough economy it’s getting harder and harder for real-estate agents to buy and sell homes. Although there has been some signs of growth over the last couple of months real-estate agents are still feeling the pinch. I was reading that a lot of real-estate agents are getting involved in loan modification leads. By taking these leads they can turn them into sales. So if you’re a real-estate agent here’s something new for you to take a crack at. This just might help you stay busy till things turn around. And you never know, you just might stay with as part of your career.

Gasoline Price

Gasoline Price!

The price of gas has just reached the lowest it has been in almost 2 years. The national average price for a regular gallon of gas is now $2.668. I would like to ask the gas stations in my area of the world, why are you still selling gas for $3.19 a gallon? If you ask me I would consider this price gouging. It seems that they’re trying to take average of us as long as they can. The reason for the big drop in gas is because no one is driving to work. And that’s because no one is working right now. So now what are the big oil company’s going to do know? I’ll tell you, their going to cut production. This way they can keep their prices up based on supply and demand. The less they drill for the more what they have goes up, crocks. I was just saying to my wife the other day, “the only thing we’re going to be able to afford is gas.” That’s because the price of food and other products are going up everyday. When the governments of this world final agree we’re in a recession, is only when we can start to work our way out of it.

Bailout Money

Bailout Money!

The floodgates are open and all the corporate crocks are lining up for a cut of our money. I was reading that insurers, automakers and banks that have foreign owners want a piece of our money. The last time I check, I thought this money was only to be used for the banking system to free up lending. It seems that the people in Bush’s office are going to look for loopholes and hand the money out to anyone they feel like. And I also think they don’t have to really look for these loopholes, because they just never said anything about them when the bill was being passed. I was for this bailout plan, only because Bush’s people said it was needed to save the economy. It now looks like it’s not going to work and we we’re all sold false hope. I truly hope that the Treasury Department makes the right choice when handing out the money. And why in God’s name are their subsidiaries of foreign banks trying to get a cut. Go crying to your government for a bailout; stay away from our money. Anyway, we’re in a recession, and we need to watch our spending with the money we have left. And hopefully we’ll pull through this once again.
