Mercedes-Benz

Mercedes-Benz!

Anyone waiting to get their hands on the GLK from Mercedes-Benz? The new Mercedes-Benz GLK-Class will be coming to Canada in January 2009. This automobile looks very sleek and well built. I also read that the GLK made its movie debut in the Sex and the City, which was Samantha’s vehicle of choice. And I can’t say I blame her, this vehicle looks absolutely amazing. If I had $43,000 I would differently look into getting one. But with the economy heading into somewhat of a recession only a few people will be able to get one. I included an image of the vehicle so you can wish for one too.

World Leaders

World Leaders!

I was just reading that the world leaders would be meeting Nov. 15 to come up with a way to fix the problem we’re in. It’s no longer just an American problem, it’s everyone’s problem. Supposedly a lot of economists think it’s still going to worst before better. I think so far they, world leaders haven’t done enough to make things better. This whole idea of bailing out banks was a crappie idea. As you can see, it hasn’t work. What the bailout money is doing is just letting these fat cats on Wall Street keep their jobs for another few years. The bailout so far has done nothing for Main Street, and we’re the one’s who done nothing wrong, except pay our bills. Maybe we should start acting like the crocks of these major banks and maybe we’ll get bailed out. In the area where I live thousands of people are losing their jobs while these companies laying them off are getting tax breaks. To me that sends the wrong message to the people of this country. Anyway, the summit will be hosted in Washington and there will be leaders from Japan, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Canada and the United States, the European Union China, Brazil, India, Russia, South Korea and other major economies around the world. Any the new President of the United States will be there. The only thing we have is to hope for the best.

Holiday Cards

Holiday Cards!

Although times are tough for a lot of us, we still need to stay focused and remember our loved ones around Christmas time. I know for a fact that I will be cutting back on the Christmas gifts. And the way the economy is going I feel that a lot of people will be doing the same. My wife and I have already started to look for great deals and deep discounts for gifts this year. If the deal looks great and I have someone on my list to buy for, that’s what they’re getting. Most people don’t think that way anymore, but they will very soon. There is nothing wrong with shopping for Christmas gifts all year long. And not only are there great deals on gifts, there’s great deals on holiday cards. I came across a site called VistaPrint, and they are running some great deals on Holiday Cards. These cards are printed on high-quality stock, which will make your cards look great. I like this site because I can create my very own cards. I can personalize them, use my own photos, and I can even customize the card with my own text and logo. You really can’t go wrong with VistaPrint.

Something To Think About

Something To Think About!

Here’s something for everyone out there to think about. Did you know that when the Barack Obama was running for Sen. of Illinois in 2004, he could’ve lost to Mike Ditka? In case if you don’t know who Mike Ditka is, he was a well-known Chicago Bear’s football player and head coach. Mike Ditka lost to Jack Ryan in the Republican primary that year. Later on that year, Jack Ryan had dropped out as the Republican candidate because of papers that were released about his divorce to actress Jeri Ryan. The leaders of the GOP had asked Mike Ditka to lead the Republican Party in this race. Mike Ditka head asked for some time to think about it, which in the end he turned it down. If Mike Ditka would’ve ran that year against Obama, Obama would have lost. Back then in 2004 Obama was not a well-known person, and Mike Ditka was very well known in the Chicago area. If Obama would have lost to Mike Ditka he would have never be in the race this year to become the next president of the United States. But then again, maybe Obama would’ve beaten Mike Ditka and nothing would’ve ever changed, but I don’t think so. Mike Ditka is just too well known in the Chicago area.
