1,000 Game Mark!
I can remember when Minnesota drafted Kevin Garnet right out of high school. And now he’s just played in his 1,000 NBA game. And what makes this 1,000th so special is that he’s the youngest player ever to do it. The record was held by another player who was drafted out of high school, Shawn Kemp did it on Dec. 20, 2002. Not to down play what Garnet has done, but this record will be broken within the few years. There are two other players on his tail, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James. If both stay healthy Bryant will reach the record first. Then James will hit the record a few years after. The key to this record is staying healthy like Garnett has as well as Kemp did. I will end with saying, great job Garnet.
