Apple And Macworld!
This should be the last year you hear Apple Inc. and Macworld in sentence. It seems that Apple Inc. will no longer be involved with the famous Expo, Macworld. And on top of Apple dropping out of Macworld, CEO of Apple Steve Jobs will no longer be delivering the keynote speech, which he has in the past. I was just as surprise to hear about Apple Inc. leaving Macworld as everyone else was, only because I thought Apple Inc. owned Macworld. I guess I was totally wrong about that one. I was reading online that a lot of people think Apple Inc. is backing out because Jobs is sick again. Or that Apple Inc. doesn’t really have any no products to introduce as in years past. Whatever their reasoning behind this may be it came as a shocker to many in the tech world. I wonder if Macworld will be as good as it once was, now that Apple Inc. pulled out?
Last Minute Shopping!
Well it’s finally here, your last minute shopping for your family and friends. You can no longer put it off, you are going to have to brave the crowds. I know at times it could be very stressful heading out to shop with the rest of the procrastinators. And if you are procrastinators you should get your last minute gifts from Kmart. At Kmart you can find just about anything for anyone in your family or friends. And what I like the most about Kmart is they have a collection of 25,000 gifts ideas for under $25, how great is that.
So- guess what I’m going to do today? I have to go finish up my Christmas shopping! My wife is dragging me out on one of the busiest shopping days of the whole year. Since I hate the traffic and the crowds I’ll probably be pretty grouchy- but we have to finish up our shopping- so we are heading out in a few minutes.
And I guess you probably know that one place we should head to is Kmart. They have some really great gifts too- things like a Craftsman® 23-inch hand tool box with comfort handle that my father in law would probably love.
Enjoy the last weekend before Christmas and don’t forget to head to Kmart!

General Info
Oil Prices Dropping!
I don’t know too much about how all this oil pricing works per barrel, and I really have no plans to fully understand it. What I do know is that oil per barrel is around $38 and dropping. Even though OPEC announced that they we’re cutting production by 2.2 million barrels a day. If these prices keep dropping come January 09 we’ll be paying less than a dollar at the pumps. And the bloodsucking oil companies are just going to have suck it up. They’ve been taking advantage of us Americans long enough. Part of all of our problems are because of the high gas prices a few months ago. I say that because no one cold afford to travel or buy those extra goodies at the grocery store. And when we stop traveling and buying the little extra things businesses start feeling the pinch. Now that the prices are coming back down people will start to travel again and spend a little more at the stores. We need to get back to drilling our own oil and making our own things. This will be the only way we can stop the transfer of wealth to these big oil-producing countries.
Interest Rate Cut!
Today the Federal Reserve cut its target for a key interest rate to the lowest level on record, .25 percent. The plan is to get banks lending and fight off the recession. I read that many analysts had expected the Fed to drop the rate to .5 percent. So by getting a zero to .25 percent rate this should be their gift this year. We’ve also have never seen a rate this low, the lowest ever was 1 percent. So I sure hope Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke knows what he’s doing, because a rate this low good cause other problems done the road.
Also, the U.S. Markets took in the good news with a spike upward in stocks. As I enjoyed the good news as well, seeing my stocks go up again. I just hope no other bad news come out over the next few day to drag the Markets back down. But I always think the worst will happen and fear the Markets will nose dive again, just how I am.
