Gas Prices Going Up!

No one ever wants to see this happen again, gas prices on the raise. But it’s true, it’s happening again. The price of gas at the pumps has gone up 25 percent just over the last few weeks. And almost 40 percent since they bottom out in mid Dec. 08. And I’m sure a lot of you are scratching your heads to why. So I will do my best to explain why I think so. The main reason is OPEC, because of their huge cut production. OPEC wants to see the price per barrel of oil back to $90 to $100 again, which is about 100 percent where it is today. And the other reason is because of what’s going on in the conflict between Israel and Hamas. The concern is that this war is going to interrupt delivery of crude oil. So as long as this war goes on you can plan to pay about 15 to 20 percent higher at the pump. This part of the hike to because of how people are feeling, their getting scared about supplies. If they would get their feeling in order about the supplies we could see a drop again. Or how about this, lets get them to stop fighting and come up with a truce for now. As for OPEC, there’s nothing we can really do about them, their going to whatever they can do to get the price of oil back up. The best thing you can do is cut back on gas is those unnecessary trips. Instead of going to the store 3 times a week go only once, you’ll save, I do.

Online Community For Kids!

Are you one of those parents that let’s your kids play games online? If so, do you know how secure their information is, or if they’re even secure? In today’s world it’s getting harder and harder to keep our kids safe online. That’s why I would like to share a site called MagNext , which is an online community for kids. Your kids can meet other users like themselves and play fun games. Although those bad people will find their way into online communitys like this you won’t need to worry too much. That’s because this kids online community is kept safe because all chat between members are monitored. I would like to add at this point that just because the chat is being monitored by the site owners doesn’t mean you still don’t need to do your own monitoring. With that being said, I did join to become a member to test the games out. And I would like to say that I think the way the games are and how everything is setup is very cool. I like how when you enter into a room or building you can challenge anyone in there, and they can do the same to you. The games are amazingly well done and would recommend it to anyone with teenagers. I thing your teenagers would have a blast playing these online games. These games are a must check out!

Facebook Value!

As most of you know Facebook as been chanced around the block a few times by big Tech Company’s like Yahoo to buy them up. In 2007 Facebook was looking for some private funding and Microsoft bid $15 billion to take a small ownership. I can remember back when Microsoft invested that money and I thought to myself are they nuts. I mean come on; Facebook hasn’t made a dime as of yet and has no real plan in place to sell ads within the site that I know of. So why in the world would Microsoft invest that amount of money? I don’t have an answer to that; maybe someday someone will answer that. Today I even saw an article that because Facebook being so bold over the years has caused their value to drop under $1 billion. Now if that’s true Facebook will wish they sold along time ago. But then again, it’s worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. The only way to see what Facebooks true value will be is when they become a publicly traded company, if ever. I would also like to add that I think Facebook is the best at what they do. And that’s what make’s them worth more than anyone other same service out there.

Fun Toys!

I have to admit something here; I’m still a huge kid at heart. And I think I’m not alone when I say that. I can’t be the only one out there that enjoys playing with their kid’s toys. If I am I must be crazy, but I know I’m not. I would be willing to bet that some of you purchase a toy or two because you thought it looked cool to play with. And how many of you remember your magnet toys? I remember having a blast with magnets. But the magnets I played with compared to the magnets today; well they just don’t compare. The magnet toys today are so much more better to play with then the one’s of the past. I even came across a site that offers some cool magnet in usa toys. The magnet toys that are made by a company called MAGNEXT make some cool looking toys. Since my youngest is only two and doesn’t own any yet, keyword, yet, I’ll have to wait for now. But when she gets a little older and we feel she’ll understand how they work I’m going to get her some. So until then, but if any of you have little ones old enough you might want to get them a few of magnet toys. And we’ll your at it, get yourself a set, no one would know, except your wife.
