Valentine Getaway!

With times being as hard as they are people need to take a little time to get away. My wife and I just took a weekend getaway, which fault great to get away together. Our little getaway was also the first time we left our two year old with anyone for the weekend. Although it was great to have that getaway, the little one was on my mind the whole time. Now, with that all being said, I would recommend to everyone to take a getaway if you can afford it. I know it could cost some money you can’t spare at the moment, but if you can spare it, it will make you feel better about your yourself.

So, I have an idea for a few places you can check out. The first place is the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing, which is located in Branson, Missouri. And the other place you might be interested in is the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel Package. That’s right, they have a package deal for you at both locations. Their Valentine’s Package deal goes throughout the month of February. You get deluxe accommodations, a $50 food and beverage credit which is redeemable at any of the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. And I would start and end my day with everything they have to offer. And then maybe go watch a movie.

Super Bowl 2008!

I was just reading that quarterback Big Ben Roethlisberger played with 2 small rib fractures. I’ve never had a fractured rib, but anything-fractured hurts a whole lot. I wonder how many legal drugs they had him on to play the way he did. He came out and played that game like nothing was wrong. I was also wondering if this injury was discovered following an MRI exam done on the Thursday after Super Bowl XLIII why did it take so long to come out? Or maybe there’s more to this than what is being reported, we will never know. Maybe I’m just reaching here because I wanted to see the Arizona Cardinals win this one. I’m not a fan of either team, but wan to see the Cardinals pull one off. Anyway, I’m sure Roethlisberger did nothing wrong nor does he have anything to hide. He’s a great quarterback and with a few more great years he’ll have a great chance to get into the Hall of Fame.
