Internet Safety Act!
The new Internet Safety Act could become a invasion of our privacy. The new policy is going to be used to catch people downloading child pornography, which I’m 100 percent for. But what will happen is the Government will use the data they collect to see what other things we do. They U.S. Government and other Governments around the world always look for a backdoors into our privacy, which is wrong. They come up with a law that everyone is for, but plan on using it for something else, which is wrong. I do wish they would come up with the silver bullet to catch child predators online, and offline. But invading the rights of good and honest people is not the way to go. Anyway, if the new policy passes your data will be held for 2 years by your internet service provider. And what they do with the data they collect will be up to the Government, and who knows what they will do with that.

Economy And Foreclosure!
Here comes the money for about 9 million homeowners who had no business owning the home they did. Part of the massive “welfare bill” President Barack Obama signed into law will give $75 billion to help these people stay in their homes. I guess I shouldn’t really say all 9 million homeowners are to blame for this mess. I would however say maybe about half, just to be on the safe side. A lot of these people lied about income or where part of some questionable dealing with lenders to get the home they couldn’t afford. I know for a fact that lenders where doing questionable deals to get be in homes they couldn’t afford. This almost happened to my wife and I. When we we’re in the process of purchasing our second home they told us we could get a loan in the range of $150,000 to almost $200,000. I thought in my head, “are you kidding me.” I told my wife we would never be able to take vacations or do anything if we made a purchased for $200,000. We both would have to work and work and work in order to just make those payments. So we smarten up and told the lender no way will consider on a $200,000 loan. That’s my story, but there are many out there that listen to the lender and went with that questionable loan for $200,000. Now these people are out of a home and have lost everything. But now with this new “welfare bill” you can stay in your home, which really seems unfair if you ask me. Basically what President Barack Obama is saying is “it’s ok if you made a bad choice, the American People will bail you out.” That’s the wrong message being sent, this bill should have never passed, people need to pay for their bad choices.
Bernard Madoff Victims!
As most of you know, Wall Street financier Bernard Madoff ran one of the biggest scams in U.S history. He had wasted close to $50 billion of people’s life savings. And because of what Madoff has done another person as killed himself. That man would be William Foxton, a 65-year-old man living in England. This makes for 2 people who have taken their lives because they have lost everything. I just can’t image how Mr. Foxton had felt, but I think Madoff should pay for his death as well as the other man that took his owe life about a month ago. And the thing that makes me the most upset is that Madoff and his wife tried to hind money before he was arrested. They both should be forced to live the rest of their lives behind bars. Or better yet, they both should be sentenced to death. I understand that what they did was just steal money, but they also stole peoples lives. There are a lot of people that won’t be able to retire when they want to because of this. So Madoff and his wife need to go away for a very long time. I’m sure whatever happens it won’t be enough, anyway for the people most hit by the scam.
