Well it seems that Google hasn’t made enough money with YouTube, yea right. Anyway that’s how they may feel because their launching a new site called VEVO. They have teamed up with Universal Music Group, the world’s largest music company. They plan to show case their artists on VEVO as well as YouTube. This service will be free to us, but the advertiser will pay through the nose, not going to be cheap. Google and Universal Music Group will split the profits coming in. I can see why they want to create this new site, have you seen YouTube lately? I have, and their nothing but junk on there. I’m sure this is the main reason for the new site, which is going to be much cleaner. Hopefully they won’t let anyone just upload anything on to the new site because it will turn into another YouTube, which would be bad.

In the early morning hours of today an U.S. flagged ship was hijacked by Somali pirates. Shortly after they took over the vessel they we’re leaving it with a hostage, which isn’t a good idea. The crew member believed to be taken is the ships Captain. The U.S. Government needs to hunt these pirates down and kill them all. Hijacking ships need to stop, and we (America) need to stop them now. They took an American, the U.S. Government needs to take care of our own. What I think, which is my guess is that once they realized that they we’re on a U.S. vessel they better get off. And getting off the vessel was a good idea, because the U.S. Government was sending American warships to the area. I’m not 100 percent sure but I think they we’re long gone by time the warships got there. If they we’re there when the warships arrived they would have all been killed. If we do nothing they will be back hijacking ships, we need to hunt them down and take care of them.
Lately I’ve been using Google Maps to locate homes that we’ve been looking at to purchase. If I’m not really sure of the area I can map out how to get there. Better yet I can zoom right down to see what the area looks like. Although their free service is really cool tool to use it kind of has a plan feel to it.
