Mickelson Is Back

Mickelson Is Back!

Phil Mickelson is at the U.S. Open and ready to play. With the approval of his wife Amy, who is home fighting breast cancer. There’s a report out that Mickelson’ wife would love to have the silver U.S. Open trophy in her hospital room. Mickelson on Wednesday had said to that account “I’m going to try to accommodate that.” If you don’t know much about Mickelson you should take the time to look him up. He’s one of the most likeable golf players ever, and he’s also one of the greatest player ever. What makes him so likeable is that he doesn’t let his fame go to his head, like other golf players. And he so happens to my favorite golf player, there’s no one like him. I will be pulling for him has he takes on the course Bethpage Black at this years U.S. Open, you all should too.

Taking A Trip

Taking A Trip!

I have a great idea for anyone looking to take a quick getaway, it’s in the Midwest, in Branson, Missouri. In Branson you will find so much electrifying entertainment, you won’t have enough time in one weekend to see everything or do everything. There’s two great hotels there, the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing, and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel, which will put you in the center of all the entertainment. Plus if you stay at one of these two hotels you will also be near shops, boutiques, restaurants and even a river walk. I also read that there’s a new golf course, the Payne Stewart Golf Club. Like I said, chances are you won’t have time for everything.

I was also just reading that there’s a few events coming up, the Father’s Day Salute, the National Kid’s Fest and a few other. If I where to visit the area I would hit the golf course, take a nice river walk, then top it off with a nice dinner for my wife and I. So if your looking for a nice weekend out check the Branson area out. And you never know, you just might end up staying the week, or longer.

Letterman's Apology

Letterman’s Apology!

One Monday night’s late night show David Letterman apologized to Gov. Sarah Palin for the joke about her daughter. And in a statement released by Gov. Sarah Palin stated that she has accepted the apology “on behalf of all young women, like my daughters, who hope men who `joke’ about public displays of sexual exploitation of girls will soon evolve.” Letterman’s apology came a few days after he tried to play down the joke, which failed. So that’s why he came straight out and just apologized. Hopefully he’ll research the joke’s put in front of him more often. After all the chances that he wrote the joke is very low. And if he did shame on him, if he didn’t hopefully they released the writer that did write it.

Problems With BOA

Problems With BOA!

It seems that House lawmakers are getting a little sick and tired of deals being made by the federal government. And the main deal that their sick over is the deal that was forced onto Bank of America Corp. Bank of America was forced to sick to the deal to purchase Merrill Lynch, even though Merrill was losing billions. And on top of BOA being forced to buying Merrill, it cost us, taxpayers almost $20 billions to offset the lose that BOA took on.

Now Bank of America CEO Kenneth Lewis has testified that the U.S federal government threatened to remove management if the deal failed. The House lawmakers are looking into why former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke forced Lewis. My guess to why they forced him was to save their own money. Lets not forget that Paulson was CEO of Goldman Sachs, which was in just as much trouble as Merrill was. So you can see that he knew a lot of people on Wall Street. I truly hope if there was something fishy going on that they all get caught and spend a little time in jail. The U.S government has played with our money long enough.
