The Best Deal Ever!

As I look back over the years of the internet I can’t think of a better deal than the deal that just formed between Microsoft and Yahoo today. This deal will hurt Google in many ways. Google will never say it, but it’s going to hurt their bottom line. Microsoft has their new search tech site bing.com, which is much better than Google’s search. In case your not sure what this deal details between Microsoft and Yahoo I will tell you. It’s very simple, Microsoft will be handling the search side of Yahoo, that’s it. Microsoft has the money to bring new tech to the world. And Yahoo has the people, which make for a perfect match. This deal is great for the world marketers. This will drive down advertising prices from Google and other online search engines. I just hope this 10 year deal last for a very long time. What I think will happen in the end is that Yahoo will build up their other businesses and then sell the whole company to Microsoft for billions.

eBay Hurting!

It seems that eBay is still struggling in this recession. Their 2nd quarter earning is down about 5 percent, but ahead of what analysts where looking for. They, eBay reported $2.1 billion, which is better than losing money if you ask me. I can also say that I personally have seen a drop with using eBay. My sales have dropped on eBay by a lot. I was getting a few sales a week, now I’m lucky if I get a few questions a week. I even started to search the net to find other sites to sell on. The problem I’m having is that I can’t find anywhere else to sell at, and that stinks. I think the problem with eBay isn’t the recession, it’s the way they revamp their system, and prices. If you’re a seller on eBay you know what I’m talking about. What I would like to see eBay do is go back to the way they where, and maybe sales for them will go back up. I sure would use them more often.

Independent Drug Test!

Jeremy Mayfield had an independent drug test right after NASCAR forced him to take another test for methamphetamines. And guess what happened, that’s right, Mayfield’s test was negative. The test he had done was at the Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, N.C, totally independent from Mayfield and NASCAR. So I guess the question now is, why is NASCAR out to get Mayfield? I wonder if the reason is that they know they made a mistake on his first test in May 09 and now their trying to save themselves. The testing lab NASCAR and doctor their using could very well have made a mistake, but won’t come out and say it. I think is they do say they made a mistake it would hurt NASCAR, as well be sued by Mayfield for millions. Right now I think the best thing NASCAR can do is come out and say they made a bad mistake, and then pay millions to Mayfield for hurting his race team and ruining his life. It’s time to pay up NASCAR, no one believes you.

Mayfield Tested Positive Again!

Jeremy Mayfield just a few weeks ago got a judge to lift his ban and start racing again for NASCAR. But NASCAR has stated that Mayfield has tested positive for methamphetamine again. This test was done by NASCAR using the same labs, so I’m not sure how true this may be. I have read that NASCAR has done some funny things in the past to ban drivers they don’t like to much. Mayfield denies the test results as well as has accused the sanctioning body of paying his stepmother to lie about his alleged past drug use. If you don’t know already, his stepmother has stated that she has personally seen him use methamphetamines at lease 30 times over 7 years. Mayfield say’s that she just out to get paid from NASCAR for her statement. And that in the best she has tried to blackmail him to give her money. What I wonder is if she could have started this whole mess. Anyway, it’s back to court for Mayfield. What’s going to happen in the end is he’s going to go broke and never race again. There’s no way he can take on NASCAR on his own, not enough money. Good luck in your fight Mayfield, your taken on the big guy.
