Olympics 2016

Olympics 2016!

It seems the push for golf in the 2016 Olympics got a bigger push today. Tiger Woods said that he would be very interested in playing in the Olympics. He would give American a great chance at winning the Gold. If the event format is stroke play he would be the one picked to win. But then again, the Olympics are 7 years away, and he may be not be rated number one. Me personally I would be pushing for Phil Mickelson.

Anyway, the IOC (International Olympic Committee) board is considering golf has one of the 2 sports to be added in 2016. I also read that Woods isn’t alone in pushing golf, The Golden Bear Jack Nicklaus, Arnold Palmer and a few others are pushing for it as well. With all these power house names pushing for golf the chances are looking good. I would also like to add my name as well, not that it will do any good.

Only One Remote

Only One Remote!

I finally got around to setting up our entertainment system, which took a few hours. During the setup process I was going nuts, I couldn’t find all the remotes I needed. I was seating there thinking to myself that it would be great to have one remote for all this crap. I would simple hit on the remote what I wanted to play and then just click on. What would also have been great is if I would have taken the time to label everything before I took it all apart. But that’s behind me, the one remote idea is something I can do now. I would never have to go searching for the right one ever again. I did come across a cool remote that just be what I’m looking for, it’s the Yamaha neoHD. I would be able to finally get rid of the bunch of remotes I would need to carry just to watch a movie. With the economy turned upside down, you can take your chance at trying to when the Yamaha neoHD by entering the Yamaha neoHD Sweepstakes . And if your into Facebook you can follow them, maybe they might have some deals coming up, maybe. But if you got the spare cash head on over to get yourself a system that will fit your budget, and your needs.

The Volt

The Volt!

General Motors Corp. has built a car, the Chevrolet Volt that can go 230 miles per gallon. Why haven’t they released this car awhile ago? The Volt is a rechargeable electric car, just like the Toyota Prius. The Prius, goes about 40 miles per gallon, which is on the market right now, we’ll have to wait for the Volt. The Volt still has to be tested by the EPA to confirm GM’s claim of 230 miles per gallon. When the Volt makes it to market it will cost about $40,000, anyway that’s what I read. It just might be worth paying that much, think how much you would save on gas and taxes. Me personally, I’ll wait for the cheaper ones to come. But if you have the money to spend on a car at this price you should get one. This car just might be the car that pulls GM out of the mess their in.
