Favre Is Back!

It seems that my wish has come true, Brett Favre is joining the Minnesota Vikings. When I read this news today online I was so happy. This news totally caught me off guard. Just a few weeks ago Favre called the Vikings camp and said he’s staying retired, which was a bad day for all Vikings fans.

I read that Favre got off the Vikings plane, was driven to the Vikings training camp. He was then wearing his helmet and pads, all within 2 hours of agreeing to come back. I guess all the texting from players from the Vikings, and other friends in the league asking him to come back finally paid off. I really feel this is the year for the Vikings. We really needed a great quarterback, and we finally got one. The only problem is, Favre is 39 years old. But he’s still in top shape. And we may only have him for 1 year, so this needs to be the year.
