Former NBA Referee

Former NBA Referee!

Do all of you remember that NBA referee that got caught gambling on games he was a refereeing? He also took thousands of dollars from a gambler in exchange for inside tips on games. He was charged with conspiracy to engage in wire fraud and transmitting betting information through interstate commerce. Well anyway, he’s in the news again, he’s heading back to jail for breaking a federal rule violation. I’m not sure what rule he broke, can’t find a clear statement out there. From what I read he started serving half of his sentence in a halfway house. So I wonder if he wasn’t following some sort of the halfway house rules. Or maybe he just wanted to go back to his federal prison camp. Those federal prison camps are like a 5 star hotel, why would you want to leave.

Affordable Football

Affordable Football!

How many of you out there are sick and tired of paying those outrage fees to play fantasy football online? I would be willing to bet that just about everyone reading this post that play fantasy football online would say “me”. That’s one of the main reason’s why I never got involved with a league online.

Now there’s a solution to those high fees, it’s called WaiverWire. WaiverWire is a site that offers a “Stimulus Package“ for people that want to join a fantasy football league online. And what makes this package a great deal is it’s FREE for the 2009 season. So now you have no reason not to get involved, you really can’t beat free. What I like about their free tool is I can follow all my favorite Minnesota Viking players. I can get updated information on players like Chester Taylor, Adrian Peterson, and of course our new QB Brett Favre, all free. These 3 Vikings are my favorite because their going to be the driving force behind the Vikings. Their going to drive us all the way to the Superbowl 2009. I’m really going to make the best out of this free offer, I hope you all do the same. Trying it out for free will help me decide if I will be willing to pay for any of their other services. So don’t wait another second, join a league and follow your favorite players. And do it with WaiverWire!

Physical Reaction

Physical Reaction!

I’ve talked about the truTV effect before, I just can’t get enough of the site TruTV. This TV site is amazing, and loaded with reality TV shows. If you visit their site you can see what their schedule of shows, and what up coming shows will be on.

Make sure you guys check out the clip within this post. After watching the clip leave me a comment of how many of you are the same way. How many of you yell at the TV when you see, or about to see someone doing something stupid. I’m that way, so don’t think your alone. I’m always yelling at the TV, a lot stupid things have been happening on TV lately. And if your like me, find yourself watching TruTV, you’ll be yelling out loud. I’m also that guy that’s ask whoever’s in the room with me if they just saw that, even though their watching the same show. I know they saw it, I just can’t hold back, just how I am. So, if your looking for a new place to watch reality TV check out TruTV. And make sure you watch my favorite show, Operation Repo. Make sure no one is around you when watching the show, because your going to be rolling on the floor.

A CBS Legend

A CBS Legend!

A true pioneer in TV news, Don Hewitt died today at the age of 86. He‘s the guy that created the show “60 Minutes“ in the 60’s. I read that he started with CBS in 1948, right when they where starting out. I also read that he produced 60 Minutes until 2004, that’s a long time. He also won 73 Emmys, 13 DuPont/Columbia University Awards and nine Peabody Awards with 60 Minutes. I sure would think that his idea for 60 Minutes was a great one. He’s also the guy that said “tell me a story”, an idea he got from kids. He will live on through his show, as well as other things he’s done. He was a true visionary, he’ll be missed by many people.
