It’s About Time

It’s About Time!

Another top executive from the energy giant Enron Corp. is going to prison. Joseph Hirko was chief executive of Enron’s Internet division. He is going away for 16 months because he lied, he stated that the division go do things he knew could never do. He also will be paying $8.7 million in restitution. What I like to do is ask the federal government is letting him keep? They should take every dime from him and toss him to the street. Because there are a lot of people that lost all their money in Enron Corp. The one’s that lost the most are Enron employees, they lost their 401k’s and jobs. This guy should lose everything he owns. If I was an employee or investor I would demand for that. I just hope the fed took that in consideration when they entered a deal with him.

Halloween Season Begins

Halloween Season Begins!

With the summer days over, and the fall days starting up, it’s time to start thinking of those beautiful fall days. And with those fall days comes the traditional Halloween day. In my old neighborhood it’s like a big Halloween party. I used to get hundreds of kids coming to the house. We used to sit outside to hand out candy. If we didn’t wait outside the doorbell would never stop ringing. Just last year we went through about 300 pieces of candy in 2 hours. I had kids sitting on my lawn because they needed to rest from walking the area. I really never minded all the little kids coming through, but I hope our new neighborhood is quiet.

What I like about Halloween is all the interesting costumes people wear. When I was growing up we would wear a sheet, or wear a football uniform, or a cheap plastic looking masks. Today, people have some of the coolest costumes. And know I see adults wearing costumes, everyone is getting involved. Now there’s contest’s you can enter to win prizes, like the Jack’s Quest contest. The contest is offered by Halloween Adventures. The only thing you need to do is share your individual Halloween adventures on their site. Just click on the link within this post. Also, to understand more, read their press release below. Have fun this Halloween season, and keep safe.

First MLB Ejection

First MLB Ejection!

For the first time in his baseball career Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki was ejected from yesterdays game. He was arguing a called 3rd strike. But was he arguing, or was he just show home plate umpire where the ball was? Suzuki just simply drew a line with his bat to show the umpire where the ball was when he called the 3rd strike. But the umpire wasn‘t happy about it and tossed him right away. Suzuki doesn‘t argue with anyone, so this is a surprise to a lot. Suzuki is also one of the greatest hitters in MLB. He’s only been in the league for 9 years, and has hit more than 200 hits each of those years, which is a record. Before he played here in the US, he played in Japan for 9 years. So in the last 18 years he’s never been tossed from a game. I think the umpire should feel like crap for tossing him, he was just showing him where the ball crossed over.

High Speed Offers

High Speed Offers!

Looking for a chance to win the hard to get 2010 Camaro 2SS? Not only can you win this new hot car, but you get it tax free. That’s because the sales tax is included with the prize. You just simply need to enter the Camaro Sweepstakes, which is brought to you by Charter Communications. Charter Communications offers digital cable service with HD programming, high speed Internet, and phone services. You can purchase their services separately, or in a bundle package. To learn more about them and their services I would recommend you follow them on Twitter and Facebook. Here’s the links to follow Charter on Facebook, as well as Charter on Twitter. I also wanted to point out that you can also win a $100 gift card when you buy 3 Charter services, $50 gift card for 2 services, and $25 gift card when you buy 1 Charter service.

I do need to point out that not everyone may not be able to join Charter Communications. It’s not because they have to much business to take on any new customers, it’s because they might not be located in your area. I did a search to see if I could join them and their not located in my area, but hopefully someday they will. I’m a little tired with the provider we use now, they seem to raise their rates every time I turn around. So I would say if you have the option to use Charter you should at lease consider them.
