Biggest Loser!
I’m not specking of the show, “The Biggest Loser,” I’m speaking of U.S Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner. As most of you know, not to long ago he was he was the New York Fed chief. He also got caught not paying taxes on all his income. He said sorry, paid a small fine, and went to work for President Barack Obama in 2008. If you or I would’ve had the U.S Government come down on us like a bad habit. Not him, he gets to be in charge of the U.S money, something wrong here, what was Obama thinking? Anyway, today Geithner was attacked by and criticized by Democrats and Republicans Wednesday for his role in the $180-billion-plus taxpayer bailout of insurance giant American International Group. Something you may not know, money went through AIG and filtered down to business partners within AIG. The money wasn’t meant for that, and Geither said he didn’t know that’s were the money went, which I think he’s not telling the whole story. The money was also used for trips and bonuses, unreal. They mess up, get free money from the Government, what’s wrong with these people. Part of the problem is that we have people that’s supposed to be looking out for us not doing their jobs. Their really looking out for themselves. What needs to happen is Geithner needs to spend time in jail with the other Wall-Street law breakers. Hopefully some day the truth will come out and Geithner get’s his 4X8 room for a few years.

Silverlight!
If any of you plane on watching any or all of the up coming Winter Olympic games online you’re going to need to have Silverlight from Microsoft on your computer. This new technology from Microsoft is going to take over Adobe’s Flash technology. Go to Microsoft’s site to see what I’m talking about. I also think that you can click on a link on NBC’s site as well. I was reading that the Summer Olympic’s had something like 40 million people from the U.S. viewed the almost 2,200 hours of the Olympics on NBC’s site, that’s a lot of people watching online. What that mean for Microsoft, it means 40 million new downloads of the Silverlight technology, and growing. Which in the end was Microsoft’s goal, new users. If you don’t have Silverlight on your computer you should go to their site and download it, I think it’s amazing, plus you’re going to need it.
Rookie Of The Year!
Percy Harvin takes this years Associated Press 2009 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. And he comes from my number 1 team, the Minnesota Vikings. He has a huge role on the Vikes. He’s a wide receiver/kick returner, and even used as a running back. In the balloting he received 41 votes from the nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the NFL. He was drafted in the 1st round of the 2009 draft. He won this award because he had 60 receptions for 790 yards with 6 touchdowns. He also carried the ball for 15 times for 135 yards, and returned 42 kickoffs for 1,156 yards. Over all he was the best Rookie this year. He also set the Minnesota’s single-season franchise record for all-purpose yardage with 2,081, he’s an amazing player. Everything he’s done will mean nothing if the Vikes don’t win the Championship.
