Summer Help!

During this last summer high school students were looking for summer work. Most were doing it to past the time by, others because they needed the cash and a lot of them to help their parents pay the bills. Most of these kids were looking to get the jobs at fast food restaurants and pizza shops, which count for most of the summer help hiring. But there was a problem, the summer jobs wern’t available. And the reason why is because of high fuel costs and raw materials. With no one eating out much these days, these jobs won’t be there for a long time to come. Hopefully the economy will turn around and people will start eating out more. And once this happens, the jobs will return. Good luck to all job seekers!

Have you ever had your home business broken into? I can say I have never had it happen to me, but I think about it all the time. There was one time that I did think someone was breaking in though, and it scared us. I went and grabbed a golf club and searched every room. As I was going through every room in the house I was worried what I was going to come across, or worst, do if I did see someone. Anyway, once the upper level of our home was cleared I moved to the lower area. The lower area is much more open with just a few rooms, which made it easy for searching. So I started searching for what had woke us up. I went room by room, then I came to our treadmill room. I opened the door and there it was. The light above the treadmill had falling and crashed into the treadmill. I was so relieved to find that, because if I hadn’t found anything I would have been up the rest of the night, and nights to come.

Fall Weekend Away!

Looking for a place or an area to visit this coming fall? If so I have an idea for you, how does Branson, Missouri sound? This place is loaded with entertainment and other things to do and see. And there’s two great places to stay, the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. These two hotels are located right in the heart of shops, boutiques, restaurants, museums, theme parks and a river walk. Again, there’s always something going on in Branson, Missouri. If I ever get the chance I think I’m going to head to Branson. I would for the most part hit the golf club during the day, visit a museum and then find a location for a nice dinner. Then I would top the day off at a near by theater.
