I was just reading an article online that was talking about a game tracking website that tracks the sales of games. And in this article it stated that Super Mario Bros. has been just knocked of its throne by Wii Sports. That’s right, the game Wii Sports is now the most sold game in the world. It seems that Super Mario Bros. has sold over 40 million plus copies to date. And the Wii Sports game as reached over 45 million copies. Are you wondering how Wii Sports went to the top so fast? Well they did it by including it with the purchase of the Wii hardware. So is it fair that it is considered number one now? I don’t know and who really cares at this point. The main reason I wanted to share this article with all of you is who has the time to do this type of tracking. And most importantly, what’s the point? Am I the only one who thinks this type of information is a great waste of time? Maybe I am, I don’t know. What do you all think?

I have some more fun ideas for all you parents out there. Well the fun isn’t really for you; it’s for your kids. But what will make it fun for you is that it’s safe and completely free to join and play. The site your kids will visit and play everyday on is ActionAllStars.com. And there not alone, they have partnered with MLB.com, NBA.com and ConnectSafetly.org, just to name a few. Now I can only tell you a little about the site. And the reason for that is, when I went to join tonight I went through all the easy steps to join and got an error message. That error message I received was a time out one that read “Error connecting to server. Please try again later”. I tried a few times later and they still seemed to be having a problem. But I’m sure their working on the problem and will have it up and working in no time. I will be back to try the game and will give everyone an update on how it went. I did want to say before I ended this post that I did really like the steps you have to take when joining. Things like if you child was joining their required to enter their parents email address. And they have great safe chat features in place. So check them out when you get a chance, and make sure you check my avatar out “Action34”.

I have to admit something here; I’m still a huge kid at heart. And I think I’m not alone when I say that. I can’t be the only one out there that enjoys playing with their kid’s toys. If I am I must be crazy, but I know I’m not. I would be willing to bet that some of you purchase a toy or two because you thought it looked cool to play with. And how many of you remember your magnet toys? I remember having a blast with magnets. But the magnets I played with compared to the magnets today; well they just don’t compare. The magnet toys today are so much more better to play with then the one’s of the past. I even came across a site that offers some cool magnet in usa toys. The magnet toys that are made by a company called MAGNEXT make some cool looking toys. Since my youngest is only two and doesn’t own any yet, keyword, yet, I’ll have to wait for now. But when she gets a little older and we feel she’ll understand how they work I’m going to get her some. So until then, but if any of you have little ones old enough you might want to get them a few of magnet toys. And we’ll your at it, get yourself a set, no one would know, except your wife.

One of golf’s biggest underdogs, John Daly is in trouble again. We’ll, maybe not that much trouble. John Daly is in Australia right now playing in a few tournaments, which he’s being paid an appearance fee. What had happened was a rude spectator reached out with his camera and snapped a shot right into his face. So Daly reached out for the camera and grabbed it out of his hands. Daly’s next move is so him, he smashed it against a tree. I guess we really can’t blame him for acting that way, I would have done the same thing. Plus, cameras aren’t even aloud on the course by spectators. That guy is lucky that Daly didn’t pop him in the face, which is what I would have done. Anyway, Daly hasn’t gotten in any trouble as of yet and it doesn’t look like he will.

I came across a pretty cool website today that I would love to share with all of you. The site is a toy site where you can get information about toys like the Mickey Mouse Garage and the mickey mouse cars and find stores with the best prices. They even have information about toys for one of my favorite movies, Disney – Pixar movie Cars. And yes, I do own the DVD for the movie. I really like the Piston Cup Race Set toy they have on the site. Just from searching around on their site I can see that they offer some of the best craft and activity products around. And when you check the site out make sure you take a look at the Kid Zone. They have a few free games your kids can play and preview others. They also have a pretty cool looking family fun area. I really like the setup on this site, with all the interactive things to do. And the information about the prices for toys is very helpful so you can find the stores with the best prices. During the Minnesota Vikings game last week Jared Allen, the defensive end for the Vikings had two below-the-knee hits on Houston quarterback Matt Schaub. And now the NFL is fining him $50,000 for it. Although during the game he was not penalized for it. Of course Schaub and Texans coach Gary Kubiak calling the hits a cheap shot. Schaub was injured in one of the hits and later had to leave the game. I watched that game, and although they did look close I disagree with fine. Or maybe I disagree because the Vikings are my favorite team. I really don’t understand how the league can fine these players if they where never penalized turning the game. I would understand if they where penalized for it during the game, but almost a week after you decide to fine them, come on. Is the NFL that hard up for cash these days. They NFL should revisit the way they do things in my opinion.

Game 5 of the World Series is still on hold. The weather is just to bad to play in. And now there’s reports that snow is going to be blowing in tomorrow. So the chances are there will be no game tomorrow. The baseball commissioner Bud Selig flew home for the day. He will be coming back to Philly tomorrow. Bud Selig stated that they would stay in Philly until Thanksgiving if they have to. He’s not going to let this game play out in Tampa Bay, the Rays home field. I also read that game 5 tickets are being sold on stubhub.com for around $600 to $3500. These tickets are still good when the game is set to be played. This is the first time a World Series game ever had a suspension. There have been rain-shortened games, but never a suspended one. So now it’s a guessing game when this game will be played out.

The video maker Shigeru Miyamoto as a gag order placed on him from Nintendo, and for very good reason.  If you never heard of Shigeru Miyamoto, he has created some of the greatest game for Nintendo.  Have you ever heard of Mario and Zelda, of course you have?  Well, those are a few of what he’s done.  Now the reason for the gag order is because his hobbies seem to turn into games.  And if his hobbies get out in the open it could cost Nintendo millions or even billions of dollars.  The last game he did was the exercise game Wii Fit.  He came up with this game during a routine workout.  So that’s why everything he does is top secret.

There’s a new Wii game out, well it’s really not new, it’s newer. The game Order Up! was released July 22nd of this year. Now I’m a huge sports guy and love all the Wii sports games, but this game looks pretty cool. The game is basically about you becoming a head chef. You start out in the Burger Face fast food restaurant. Then you start working you way up until you decide to buy a place of your own. On your way to becoming a head chef you will have to deal with some really bad situations. Anyway, the game looks pretty cool and here’s a link to the Order Up! Trailer, check it out.

What?  I just read Playstation 3 lost money.  Are you kidding me?  These guys charge $600 per system and they lost money. Sony stated that they’ve now lost $3.3 billion on the Playstation 3.  They’re saying it’s because they price the system lower than their production cost.  And the huge amount of money placed in research.  I can’t believe their reason behind the lost.  There is something else going on, the truth will come out some day, you’ll see.
