Tim Russert Meet the Press

Tim Russert Meet the Press!

Breaking News – Tim Russert, the moderator of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” died Friday of an apparent heart attack.  He was only 58 years young.  I loved watching his show Meet The Press.  Tim would never hold back, he always would ask the hard questions of anyone.  He seemed to be such a down to earth honest guy.  He was NBC’s Washington bureau chief and a senior vice president.  I can say honestly, this guy will be missed.

The White House

The White House!

It appears that ex White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan decided to through President Bush under the bus.  He pretty much wrote in his book that the Iraq war was all based on lies.  Staffers of the White House find it hard to believe what McClellan has written about such things.  Press Secretary Dana Perino issued a statement -  “Scott, we now know, is disgruntled about his experience at the White House,” no kidding.  It also appears that President Bush will not comment on this, and I don’t blame him.  My view is, “you may not like what Bush does, but you need to respect the President”.  Think about what the President goes through every day.  He has to make real hard decisions; do you think you can do it?  If so, go run to be President of the United States of America.

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy Part 3

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy Part 3!

I posted information on this topic on Saturday the 17th when this had happened.  First reported was that the Senator had stroke-like symptoms.  Then reported was that Sen. Edward M. Kennedy had suffered from a seizure.  Now the doctors are reporting that he has a cancerous brain tumor.  The tests that were ran on the Senator after the seizure showed a tumor in Kennedy’s left parietal lobe.  The course of treatment hasn’t been determent yet.  The doctors are still running tests.  I’ll do my best to keep everyone up to date.

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy Part 2

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy Part 2

The word on Sen. Edward M. Kennedy is he had suffered from a seizure at his home Saturday morning.  First report was possible stroke.  Spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter said “he was conscious, talking, joking with family,” after arriving at Massachusetts General Hospital.  From what the general public knows is that his condition is not life threatening, but still serious.  Right now it’s a wait and see if he gets better.
