Increase Your Sales!
Are you a business owner looking to increase your sales in this economy? I am, and I’m always looking for new ways to increase my sales. Lately however it’s been really tough going with sales. It seems what ever I try to do it’s just not working like I want it to. Some of the things I have is running discounts and compiling services, selling packages basically. I’ve even lowered prices on a few of the products I offer, which has worked a little. But when you start lowering prices it underscores your products services in my opinion. And then what do you do with the customers you have paying full price, do you lower them as well? I know I would want my price lowered if I was a customer paying full price.
So I’ve been looking for new ways to get my name out there. One way is marketing offline, something I’ve never thought about before. Since all of my services and products are related to webmasters and site owners I’ve never marketed offline. I’ve been thinking about doing some direct marketing by sending out fliers. I’m even thinking about sending a postcard to some of my customers to let them Know I appreciate their business. I think by sending a full color postcard could go a far way, and hopefully bring in new customers. I know I would like to receive a great looking postcard with the vendors I do business with. The cost of a few postcards is very cheap, and the amount of business coming in could be huge. After all word of mouth is the best form of marketing. The more people you have saying great things about you will grow any business. What do some of you think about marketing online services offline, do you think it would work?
Free Dr Pepper!
That’s right, you read the title of this post correctly. It seems that Dr Pepper Snapple Group, Inc. made a promise, and now their paying up. They made the promise that if Guns N’ Roses’ released their album “Chinese Democracy” in 2008 every American will get a free 20-ounce soda of Dr Pepper. This album as been in the making since 1994 and has cost of $11 million to make. So you can see why they made this promise. I think Dr Pepper thought this would have never happened, but it did and now they’re paying up. Here’s what you do to get your free 20-ounce soda. Starting Sunday at 12:01 a.m. you can get a coupon for a free 20-ounce soda off their website. You will only have 24 hours to get it, so you better hurry.
Finding Things!
With there being so many search engines out there, how do you really find one that works for you? What I mean by that is, have you ever done a search and where you get information that doesn’t make sense with what you are searching for? That happens to me all the time. I will be looking for one thing and something else comes up. Even though what your search for does show up, you have to look for it through all those ads placed around it. Nothing drives me nuts more then when I have to search on the page to find my search results. Does that make sense to you? Most of you completely understand what I’m talking about, because you have to deal with it as well. Anyway, I came across a new search engine you might enjoy using. You should check out Find.com Search Engine services. I really like that you don’t have to comb through all the junk ads to find what you’re looking for. And it’s not loaded with crazing looking images to try to catch your eye. This search engine is just a straightforward search engine I like to use, and you will too. Go ahead and check it out today. You just might find yourself using it everyday.

Popular Online Hangout!
One of the most popular online hangouts’s, MySpace is getting into the online download business. Their nearly 120 million users will be able to listen to free music, as much as they want. Now there’s a catch, you can only listen to the music through your computer using your MySpace account. And of course there will be ads you will be looking at. By offering this free to MySpace users will definitely hurt other online music sellers like iTunes. That’s because if you like the song you’re listening to you can buy it for as low as 79 cents from Amazon’s site. And the thing that will set this service apart from iTunes is that you can download the songs as many times as you want. Plus the song will work on any MP3 player. I think iTunes is going to be in a little bit in trouble here. The recording labels are loving this new service. They’re hoping this will bring their numbers back in line. I read that CD sales where a little over $12 billion in the late 1990’s. Today they almost reach $6 billion. That’s a huge drop in sales, which is why recording labels love this new service.
