Former President Clinton!
The Former President Bill Clinton does what no one else could do, free the 2 U.S. journalists from North Korea. Bill Clinton went there on a mission to get those 2 women home. Although the journalists did enter into North Korea illegal they didn’t deserve 12 years of hard labor. They should have been deported. Just last month U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton tried to get North Korea to release them without any luck. I wouldn’t be surprise if Hillary had asked Bill to do it for her. But then again the chances are low, because I don’t even think they still talk to each other. Anyway, they’re on their way home now, should be some happy families tonight.
Problems With BOA!
It seems that House lawmakers are getting a little sick and tired of deals being made by the federal government. And the main deal that their sick over is the deal that was forced onto Bank of America Corp. Bank of America was forced to sick to the deal to purchase Merrill Lynch, even though Merrill was losing billions. And on top of BOA being forced to buying Merrill, it cost us, taxpayers almost $20 billions to offset the lose that BOA took on.
Now Bank of America CEO Kenneth Lewis has testified that the U.S federal government threatened to remove management if the deal failed. The House lawmakers are looking into why former Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke forced Lewis. My guess to why they forced him was to save their own money. Lets not forget that Paulson was CEO of Goldman Sachs, which was in just as much trouble as Merrill was. So you can see that he knew a lot of people on Wall Street. I truly hope if there was something fishy going on that they all get caught and spend a little time in jail. The U.S government has played with our money long enough.
Guantanamo Bay!
The U.S. are bringing in the Guantanamo Bay detainee’s one by one. I say this because the Justice Department just flow in Guantanamo Bay detainee Ahmed Ghailani to face trial. This is the guy that took part in the bombing of the U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya. He also took part in the murdering of 224 people resulting from the bombings. This is a bad move by the Justice Department. This is all part of President Obama’s plan in getting the Guantanamo Bay camp shut down. He’s testing us, Obama is. He want’s to see what happens to his rating for allow this transfer. House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio said it best. He stated “the first step in the Democrats’ plan to import terrorists into America,” which he is 100 percent right. I sure hope the American people put their feet down and call for President Obama to stop this. We fight to keep our land safe, now we’re bringing these really bad people to our land on our dime, what’s wrong with this?
Justice Department!
The U.S Justice Department has ruined another persons life. That life this time is former Alaska Sen. Ted Stevens. Do you all remember when the Justice Department had convicted him on seven felony counts of lying on Senate financial disclosure forms to conceal hundreds of thousands of dollars in gifts, I do. At the time this story was all over the internet. Now the Justice Department wants to have the case and conviction tossed out. The Justice Department had come across notes by the prosecutors who where handling the case. To their surprise they found a lot of misconduct and with holding of information. They found notes that suggested that the star witness for the prosecution was even lying. This is a case of clear injustice, and should be made right ASAP. Stevens career is over, they can’t change that, unless he runs again. Getting re-elected good happen because even when he was found guilty he still almost won for another term. He has severed the state of Alaska since 1968, which he was the longest serving Republican senator. I sure hope things are made right very soon for this man. And great job for the Justice Department for coming out with this information, they could have covered it up like they do everything else. I also hope those prosecutors never practice law again.
