I’m your most if not everyone that stops by here is tired of pop-up ads, I’m sure tired of them. It doesn’t matter what I try, pop-ups seem to sneak by my blocker. I think my browser is only capable of some much when it comes to blocking ads. And the thing that bothers me the most is how much it slows my computer down, I hate it.

Now, with that being said I found something I like for you guys to give a shot at trying, and there’s a free trial. There’s a program called Ad Muncher that can block ads in every browser out there. So you know what that means for you and I, faster page loads and no more annoying ads. So go ahead and Try Ad Muncher now, the only thing you will lose are ads.

Here’s something that everyone that reads my blog should read. Because if you travel with your laptop whether for business or pleasure you need to protect it. When I traveled for business and family vacations I would always setup my laptop with a password. But the problem was I wasn’t ever really secure, and that worried me a lot. If someone had taken my laptop then or even today I would be totally lost and worried because of the information I have stored on it. If you’ve ever wondered if your information was ever well protected, well worry no more. I came across a file encryption software company that offers a pretty neat suite of file encryption products. On their site they state that they are the leader in file encryption software for individuals and businesses. And you know what- that just might be true. You’re also able to try before you buy, because you can download a trial of their products. Their premier suite of products consist of file encryption products, including hard drive encryption, email encryption, mobile encryption, enterprise security and a lot more. If any of this sounds good click your way on over and see what they can do for you.

I’m sure a lot of you have heard of NewEgg. And for the ones who have never heard of them they’re an online retailer that sells just about everything related to computers. I read on their site that they have more than 25,000 computer hardware and software, consumer electronics and communications products in stock and ready to ship. And you know what that means, no waiting for your orders. Anyway I found a NewEgg promo code you can use to purchase product online. When you click one the link I provided you will see a whole list of promo codes. Times are tough right now, with the economy shrinking and a lot of people losing a lot of money. And with Christmas coming up on to us faster and faster every little bit helps. Make sure you also check out the main part of the site for some more amazing savings. I would recommend that you check the site out in this post on regular bases, maybe even bookmark the site. I will be checking to see if there are any online coupons or discounts I can use before I go Christmas shopping. Don’t waste your money; check the site out today.

And if you don’t believe it check the video out below. First I would like to say that I have had this software for about a week, and you will need to practice to get the hang of it, as I did. Now a little about Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred. This software will give you the power to create documents, reports and e-mails much faster than most of us can type. And if you know me personally, I can’t type fast at all. And did I mention that my spelling isn’t the greatest. And now that I’m using Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred I won’t need to worry about those embarrassing mistakes anymore. And this will also make my wife happy, because I won’t need to ask her how to spell a word anymore. And in case if you’re wondering if the software will work with Microsoft Word or Excel, it does. It also will work with Corel WordPerfect and most other Windows-based applications out there. Oh, and you can even surf the web with this software. I will end this video by saying that, I had a great time learning how to use Dragon Naturally Speaking 10 Preferred. And I would recommend it to anyone looking to free up your hands and type faster. Now it’s time for you to sit back and enjoy the video.

And don’t forget to check out the New York Times Review that was done on Dragon Naturally Speaking. And make sure you see for yourself how you stack up against Dragon. Take the Dragon NaturallySpeaking typing test! This test was a lot of fun, you will think so too.

One of the most popular online hangouts’s, MySpace is getting into the online download business. Their nearly 120 million users will be able to listen to free music, as much as they want. Now there’s a catch, you can only listen to the music through your computer using your MySpace account. And of course there will be ads you will be looking at. By offering this free to MySpace users will definitely hurt other online music sellers like iTunes. That’s because if you like the song you’re listening to you can buy it for as low as 79 cents from Amazon’s site. And the thing that will set this service apart from iTunes is that you can download the songs as many times as you want. Plus the song will work on any MP3 player. I think iTunes is going to be in a little bit in trouble here. The recording labels are loving this new service. They’re hoping this will bring their numbers back in line. I read that CD sales where a little over $12 billion in the late 1990’s. Today they almost reach $6 billion. That’s a huge drop in sales, which is why recording labels love this new service.

Yes the title say’s it all, Google Inc. is now in the phone business. The new phone, called G1 will only be sold by T-Mobile and will be coming out Oct. 22nd of this year. Google said it would be easier for you to search the internet and easy access to your gmail. The price tag on the new G1 will be $179 with a two-year contract through T-Mobile. You can get a data plan for the phone, which will cost you $25 per month on top of your service plan. I have no idea what the service plans price will be, but will most likely be the same price as the iPhone. And the launch date fits right in with Christmas, so make sure you get it on your list. And just in case you’re not a big fan of Google, wait about year and you can get a Yahoo Phone or even a phone from Microsoft Corp. Both are also getting ready to break into the phone business. Me personally will most likely never buy a G1 or phone from any advertising company. Bad enough we look at tons of ads online, now our phones, not me.

This post is for everyone that comes across it. I came across a site tonight called UsedPrice.com, which offers true used equipment value on your stuff. These guys can give pricing on just about any used products in the market today. That means no more wondering what your used items are worth. When you need some extra cash use their tool to see what your item is selling for in pawnshops. Now there is no reason for you to get taken advantage of ever again. Again, everyone needs to check this site out; it’s really for anyone. It doesn’t matter what you’re looking for, you will find the most up to date prices on just about any of your used products.

I was just reading about a device being sold in Target stores. The device is called “Peek,” and only offers email service on the go. The idea behind this new device is a lot of people out there are just looking to receive emails. The company starting this a start up company looking to fill what the BlackBerry dropped. Yes, if you didn’t’ know this already, the BlackBerry once only offered email. Now the BlackBerry offers phone services and a whole lot of other bells and whistles. Anyway, if your looking for just email services you can pick a Peek up at Target for around $100 with a month fee of $20. The great thing about the monthly fee is no contract is required. I have no idea if this new device will take off, but who really knows, look what happened with the BlackBerry.

This major tool we call the internet at times offers unlimited access to pornography. Which our children could easily gain access to. Unfortunately this problem isn’t going away. We can only try to reduce the access by teaching our children about internet safety. And here’s just another way that could help you and I to fight this battle. I came across a site tonight that offers software that can locate pornography on your computer. This program will do an image-analysis by simply doing a quick scan of your computer. It will then locate and delete pornography from almost any computer system. You owe it to your kids to at least check the site out.

If any of you watched any or all the Olympic games online you needed Silverlight from Microsoft. This new technology from Microsoft one day could take over Adobe’s Flash technology. What you saw on NBC’s site was amazing, and hands down way better than Adobe’s Flash. I was reading that 40 million people from the U.S. viewed the almost 2,200 hours of the Olympics on NBC’s site. That means 40 million new downloads of the Silverlight technology. Which in the end was Microsoft’s goal, new users. If you don’t have Silverlight on your computer you should go to their site and download it, I think it’s amazing.
