It seems that there are a few changes coming about within the Bills. And here’s the surprise, Terrell Owens is getting cut, not really a surprise is it, or is it. He did manage to stay out of trouble for a year, so why cut him? I think the Bills are doing this because T.O. gets in trouble during season 2 with his new team. Now this hasn’t been verified yet, but insiders at the Bills camp say it’s coming. T.O. is a huge problem for any team, and the likelihood of him being picked up by another team is slim, but the Ravens have been asking questions. As good as T.O. is, his career just might be over if he does get cut. And I really don’t think any other team will pick him up, been wrong about that before thought. If he wasn’t always such a trouble maker he could have been one of the best whoever played the game, it’s a shame.

Percy Harvin takes this years Associated Press 2009 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award. And he comes from my number 1 team, the Minnesota Vikings. He has a huge role on the Vikes. He’s a wide receiver/kick returner, and even used as a running back. In the balloting he received 41 votes from the nationwide panel of 50 sports writers and broadcasters who cover the NFL. He was drafted in the 1st round of the 2009 draft. He won this award because he had 60 receptions for 790 yards with 6 touchdowns. He also carried the ball for 15 times for 135 yards, and returned 42 kickoffs for 1,156 yards. Over all he was the best Rookie this year. He also set the Minnesota’s single-season franchise record for all-purpose yardage with 2,081, he’s an amazing player. Everything he’s done will mean nothing if the Vikes don’t win the Championship.

Just the other day Tiger Woods decision to take a break from golf was a shock to a lot of people. He’s doing this because he has plans to fix his marriage. Me personally I don’t believe that for one second. His marriage is over. How could his wife stay with him after being with other women for such a long time. It was reported that he had long term multiple affairs over the last few years. What he’s really trying to do is save his name from tanking. People are starting to see just what type of person he his, and they don’t like it. Any women fans he had are all just about gone. I was also reading that a few of his fellow professional golfers think it would be bad for the sport to lose the top player. But then on the other hand some think it’s good for the sport. I can careless if he goes for good. Anyone that treats his wife that way should be chased out of town. And if his wife stays with him she’s just has nuts, even if he pays her more. She sold leave him and take him for everything he’s worth. She may not get the money she wants from the marriage because of the agreement in place. But the kids, he should make him pay child support out his nose. After all in the end their the one’s that are going to be hurt the most. Woods is a fool, if his image is destroyed he only has himself to blame.

The full story of Tiger Woods accident isn’t still clear. Woods is only making this problem worst for himself. By not telling the story of where he was going at 2:30 a.m. is making things bad. People and big media outlets are making up their own versions. Woods keeps only saying that it’s a private matter, which may be true. But when your in the spot light for being the number one golf player in the world people want to know. And now he’s hired an attorney, so it makes people wonder what is going on. If he has nothing to hind, what’s the problem, just tell us what’s going on. The longer Woods wait’s, people and the media will just keep making things up, true or not. It’s a PR nightmare, hopefully he’ll come clean soon.

This year the American League Most Valuable Player Award goes to, Joe Mauer, catcher for the Minnesota Twins. I read that he was the second catcher in 33 years to win the AL MVP. And he almost got all first place votes, 27 of the 28. His total points cast by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America was 387. I personally feel that the Baseball Writers’ Association of America got it right. Mauer is one of the greatest MLB Players to ever play this game. He may not be a slugger, he doesn’t get a lot of RBIs, what he does do is get on base. He’s also one of the best catchers ever to play. The next closest player to him in points was Mark Teixeira 225 points, Derek Jeter 193, and Miguel Cabrera came in forth with 171 points. He also won this years AL Gold Glove. I sure hope that the Minnesota Twins find away to keep him, and not trade him to the Yankees, but you know the Yankees got the money, and will pay to have him.

After another poor start, the Buffalo Bills owner Ralph Wilson terminated head coach Dick Jauron. The final straw was this last Sundays beat down 41-17 loss to Tennessee. I think this release of Jauron is a great thing for him. He really needed to get out of Buffalo. The Bills haven’t had any really good building since the early 90’s. Owner Ralph Wilson, hasn’t really spent any money to bring in great players. And for the most part the Bills are in a small market, and just about broke. This off season the Bills did acquired Owens, but he’s a loser, nothing but trouble. Of course there will be fans glad to see this change, but their blind. Jauron is a good head coach, and will end up coaching a team next season, if not this year. The person that all fans should be mad at is Bills owner Ralph Wilson, it’s time for him to step down, and hire great GM to run the team.

The fans of the Buffalo Bills are starting to show that their unhappy. And one fan is showing his disbelief by purchasing an ad in Buffalo N.Y over looking 190. The digital billboard will flash on over 3000 times a day, stating “It’s time to clean house, RALPH,” plus asking Wilson to terminate Head Coach Jauron; the team’s chief college scout Tom Modrak; and vice president of pro personnel John Guy. What I found hard to believe was that the money raised was by a 18 year old fan, with no job. The ad is going to cost him $1402. If he stays on top of this he could raise even more money to keep the ad up. I think that this is a great idea, every fan should show how they feel, we need to stick together.

What a game this was. I was on my chair the whole game. There wasn’t a boring time at all. I thought for sure the Viking defense was going to lose it for the Vikings. I truly believed that the Vikings were going to blow it, but they pulled off the win, 23 to 30. I shouldn’t say the whole defense, the secondary struggles. The Vikings front is unbelievable, no one can have a run game against them. My man, Viking Jared Allen had 4 ½ sacks, 2 force fumbles, and a safety. It seemed that no one was able to stop him, he was busting through the line on every play. I don’t think he slowed down at all. And lets not forget what Brett Favre did in this game, he played a great game. He had no turnovers, the front line gave up no sacks, and he threw for 271 yards and 3 touchdowns. And also worth noting, Brett Favre is the first quarterback in NFL history to beat all 32 NFL teams. I can’t remember the last time the Vikings started 4-0. Anyway, Favre finally got his win against his old team of 15 years. He down played the week, but you know he wanted to beat the Packers very badly. This is a great start to the year, I just hope they keep it going.

For the first time in his baseball career Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki was ejected from yesterdays game. He was arguing a called 3rd strike. But was he arguing, or was he just show home plate umpire where the ball was? Suzuki just simply drew a line with his bat to show the umpire where the ball was when he called the 3rd strike. But the umpire wasn‘t happy about it and tossed him right away. Suzuki doesn‘t argue with anyone, so this is a surprise to a lot. Suzuki is also one of the greatest hitters in MLB. He’s only been in the league for 9 years, and has hit more than 200 hits each of those years, which is a record. Before he played here in the US, he played in Japan for 9 years. So in the last 18 years he’s never been tossed from a game. I think the umpire should feel like crap for tossing him, he was just showing him where the ball crossed over.

Here’s some pretty good news coming out of the New York Jets camp. The Jets decided to give one of their #1 fans a game ball after they beat the New England Patriots. Jets Head coach Rex Ryan presented the ball during the teams Friday meeting. The ball was given to Ed Anzalone, a New York City firefighter for getting the crowed pump to rattle Tom Brady during the game. Ryan considers the fans, Jet Fans help the stay alive and win the game. This is the first time in NFL history a fan was given a game ball for keeping the crowd involved. I could be wrong about my last statement, but I’ve never heard or read this happening before. So I say way to go Jets, after all it’s the fan that keep things going.

Here’s a side note “Anzalone was included in the Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Hall of Fans in 1999.”
