Winning A Trip For All!

This is for anyone looking to win a trip for yourself, and a group of your friends, up to 100. I don’t think I could even come up with a 100 friends to take with me, might have to take some family members, just kidding Mom.

Man, what would I do with 100 of my family and friends for a weekend away. Just doesn’t seem like a weekend would be enough. Since most of my friends play golf we’ll have to locate a top notch course to hit for about 4 hours. Then come back and party till the sun comes up the next day. Hopefully my wife will be able to get me back home, but who’s going to get everyone else home, looks like the ladies are coming.

One of the newest rides in theme park capital of the world is coming to SeaWorld Orlando, FL. The new ride was created to give you the feeling of riding on the underside of a stingray, one of the oceans most interesting animals. The ride is called, Manta “ride the flying ray.” You can see a small clip of the ride in action within this post, or by clicking on the link in this post. And while your visiting their site make sure you inter their contest to win a front of the line pass. There are a few steps to take, but worth it. Now here’s your warning, by watching this clip it will make you want to go to SeaWorld and ride this ride, that’s how I felt. It brought back memories for my last trip to SeaWorld with the family.

Anyway, this ride is a flying roller coaster, and not for everyone. Roller coasters don’t always sit well with me, but this one looks worth taking a chance on. I’ve never been on a roller coaster ride that has you face down through out the ride. So this just might be a very interesting thrill ride for a lot of you, for me anyway. I know that if we’re down Hope you all give it a shot if your in the area.

Right now is one of the best times to take a little break from everything and getaway. At this point going anywhere with my wife would be great. We’ve been staying close to home lately because of an up coming closing on our new home. We have a June 1st dead line to be closed by, but we’re not sure if we’re going to close by then. It has nothing to do with us or the sellers, it’s the bank. The banks are so over worked that things are falling behind. So my wife and I are getting pretty stressed at this point. So a weekend getaway is coming. If your stressed and over worked as well one place to consider is for us to consider is the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing. And in the same area is the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. From what I read online these locations in Branson are loaded with things to do. I think my wife and I would visit the shops, boutiques, restaurants and take a nice river walk. I would also try to get to the new Payne Stewart Golf Club if there’s time. Anyway, this is just one choice, but a good choice, check them out if you live near them. You never know, it just might be the best weekend getaway you’ve had in a long time.

One of my familes favorite places to visit when vacationing in Orlando Florida is SeaWorld. Now I know Orlando is loaded with entertainment, but nothing beats Sea World. The place is just loaded with family things to do and see. Although they have amazing attractions and rides for the bigger kids, and us young adults at heart, my favorite are the animal shows. The animal shows are so well put together and thought out it will amaze you, like it did to us.

Now if you where to ask me what I enjoyed the most at SeaWorld I would have to say the Dolphin Cove area was the best. I find it absolutely amazing that dolphins can be trained to do the tricks they do. And now I hear that the dolphins at SeaWorld are doing something amazing. And I just didn’t read or heard about it, I seen it on a video taken by SeaWorld. The dolphins are blowing bubbles under water. Not only are they blowing bubbles, their playing with them. I’m not kidding or making this up, check out the video in this post. There’s even a website called Dolphin Bubbles with the same video on it, make sure you check that out as well. And if your ever in the Orlando Florida area you need to make sure you set time aside to get to SeaWorld, it will be your best stop, I promise.

I was wondering if any of you out there in cyber world ever consider living in a really warm area. Not only a real warm area, but one of the best places to live. And that place would be Costa Rica, one of the best places in the world to retire too. Now I was reading that to purchase property there is could be very costly. And as some who has just retired it could make it hard to live there. What I also read is that people are renting property to get a feel of Costa Rica. If you’re someone looking to may consider on living there I found a site that list property’s for rent in Costa Rica. Just click on the link I’ve provided and it will take you right to those property’s. The site is laid out pretty well and very easy to use. You will see category’s for furnished apartments, houses and even office space. Just for kicks I was checking out furnished apartments and I was amazed by how low the prices where. Some even offered Wi-Fi and cable TV included. If I where to retire tomorrow I would be gone to Costa Rica in a heartbeat.

More and more airline carriers are having to charge for checked bags.  The three biggest carriers are now having to charge $15 just for your first bag.  It doesn’t stop there, if you check a second bag it will cost you $25’s more.  These charges are related to one thing and one thing only, the record high fuel cost.  On the other hand, Southwest Airlines still will permit two check bags for free.  So if you can fly Southwest Airlines, you should, that could be a saving of $40’s.  Here’s my advice, do your research before you book that flight.  All carriers have different little fees that used do be free.
